Saber Interactive Announces Evil Dead: The Game Delay
An Evil Dead: The Game delay is probably the last thing you want to hear if you’re a horror fan, but that’s exactly what’s happened. The devs over at Saber Interactive say they need more time to work on the game, so it’s being moved to February next year.
What’s the reason for this Evil Dead: The Game delay?
Per a tweet on the game’s official Twitter feed, Evil Dead: The Game has been delayed in order to give the devs more time to polish it up. Saber says it needs “extra time for polish” and to make sure the game represents the best possible interactive Evil Dead experience. The delay will also give the studio extra time to implement a single-player option, so if you’re missing your co-op partners or you can’t scrounge up some folks to play the game with, you won’t be left out in the cold.
When is the new Evil Dead: The Game release date?
The new release window Saber Interactive is targeting for Evil Dead: The Game is February 2022. Unfortunately, we don’t have any more comprehensive information than that right now. It’s likely Saber will announce more information about the game in the coming weeks and months, though, so if you’re holding on for a more concrete date you can cling to, hopefully you won’t have to wait too much longer.
In the meantime, the developers have promised plenty more information about the upcoming multiplayer horrorfest. Saber says you should “stay tuned” for more info about new character updates, when you’ll be able to pre-order the game, and also a brand new gameplay video featuring Evil Dead legend Bruce Campbell. Again, we’re not sure when all of this new Evil Dead: The Game information will drop, so make sure you stay tuned for more on this. When Evil Dead: The Game does launch, it’ll be available for PlayStation platforms, Xbox consoles, PC, and Nintendo Switch. In the meantime, you can whet your appetite by checking out the first gameplay trailer from E3 this year.
